Claudia Landeros – a Psychologist, Spanish teacher, tutor, and dance instructor. Claudia emigrated from México 12 years ago after earning her B.A. in psychology and a M.A in Applied Linguistic to teach Spanish as a Second Language. She enjoys working with students of all ages to applies her experiences to help them succeed in learning Spanish. Her Spanish immersion lessons are filled with hands-on activities, fun projects and games.
Besides teaching, she is also pursuing a second B.A. in Hispanic Literature and Linguistics from Cal State LA. Claudia is also the founder and director of “Friendship Camp” (Non-Profit organization) in Zacatecas, México aimed at serving underprivileged children in rural communities to bring them new experiences and quality educational activities. She is actively involved in the design and implementation of the summer camp curriculum, organizing participation by US teachers and coordinating with the state’s department of education program.
