Regina has been sewing since she was 8 years old. She learned to sew by watching her mother and advanced her skills in junior high school during the sewing lessons of her homemaking class. As an adult, she has always loved to sew for herself and others, and was known as “Lil’ Miss Sew N Sew.” In 2008, Regina began teaching sewing at a charter school in Altadena and was later invited to teach for the City of Duarte Parks and Recreation Department. She is also frequently hired for custom sewing projects. Each season, she regularly teaches dozens of students of all ages and abilities – including special needs. She has a love for sewing and a passion to teach others how to sew as well. Students will need a sewing machine and many of the basic supplies to complete student selected projects (supply kits may be obtained from Regina). Overall, Regina is patient, encouraging and sincerely loves showing others how to sew.
