She has worked and volunteered over the years in local co-ops and gatherings. She loves learning new things and coming alongside students to share that joy. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree from APU before earning a multiple subject teaching credential through National University. She taught as a substitute teacher in all grades before settling into her role as a stay at home mom. She loves hiking and exploring and curling up with a good book. In her homeschool she values supporting her children as whole people while still providing a rich educational environment. That's what she brings into the classroom as well. She enjoys a wide array of subject matter and hopes that her students will leave not only with more knowledge about the world around them, but also with the aim to remain lifelong learners.

All cancellations or schedule changes must be made directly with the instructor by 6 p.m. the night before a lesson to avoid a full lesson penalty fee. Some instructors may provide you with written notification outlining a different cancellation/penalty policy. This policy will supersede Home School Coaches’ policy. We truly want these lessons to support your educational goals, so feel free to share your expectations with your coach; this will enable them to provide you with a uniquely customized learning experience.
