I'm a passionate educator dedicated to helping children discover a genuine love for learning. With 17 years of teaching experience from preschool to college, my background includes a degree in Secondary Education with a major in English and a master's degree in Reading. As a current homeschooling parent who has supported other homeschool families for the past three years, I have a deep understanding of the home-learning environment. My teaching philosophy is rooted in making education a joyful, multi-sensory experience. By blending the gentle, life-enriching principles of Charlotte Mason with traditional structure, I use hands-on activities and inspiring stories to nurture curiosity, build genuine connections, and help each child find joy in their own growth. My greatest joy is guiding young students through the magical world of reading, and I also offer tutoring in the Filipino language, which allows me to share the beautiful culture of my birth country. When I'm not teaching, I'm exploring with my family of three. We love to travel to national parks and other countries, and I enjoy bringing those global experiences into our kitchen by cooking food from different cultures and baking for my family.

All cancellations or schedule changes must be made directly with the instructor by 6 p.m. the night before a lesson to avoid a full lesson penalty fee. Some instructors may provide you with written notification outlining a different cancellation/penalty policy. This policy will supersede Home School Coaches’ policy. We truly want these lessons to support your educational goals, so feel free to share your expectations with your coach; this will enable them to provide you with a uniquely customized learning experience. Should you ever feel that these lessons do not match your expectations, please contact us to receive a refund on your remaining balance or to be matched with a different instructor.
