My name is Daniel and I love teaching and would like to help your student succeed. I have 20 years of teaching experience in Mathematics and ESL in the USA and China. I’ve had opportunity to teach in a College, High School, Middle School and Kindergarten. I have a New York State Certification in Mathematics (7-12), Masters in Computer Education with extensive ESL teaching experience. Recently, I started teaching online. I have taught students with varying learning levels such as AP Math, as well as ADHD or needing special accommodations. Teachers are facilitators that engage students learn through discovery. Every student can achieve competency through individual learning approach, guidance and practice. Home schooling is an awesome way to have differentiated learning in so I fully support it. My interests in volunteer work has taken me to China, India, Kosovo and Philippines. I am involved in International disaster relief through a non-profit I recently started.
