I am currently a lecturer in Philosophy and Math Support at San Diego State University. In the past I have taught Middle School and High School Mathematics. My focus in tutoring is working with diverse students with varied needs and helping students become independent, diligent, and motivated in their studies. I strive to make my lessons and interactions personal by integrating student interests in lessons. Outside of education I enjoy playing video games, playing guitar, working on cars, and studying martial arts.

All cancellations or schedule changes must be made directly with the instructor by 6 p.m. the night before a lesson to avoid a full lesson penalty fee. Some instructors may provide you with written notification outlining a different cancellation/penalty policy. This policy will supersede Home School Coaches’ policy. We truly want these lessons to support your educational goals, so feel free to share your expectations with your coach; this will enable them to provide you with a uniquely customized learning experience.
