About this Instructor

As part of my childhood homeschool experience I was able to partake in piano lessons which began my interest in music that became my passion, and eventually led into a lifelong career. I was homeschooled up until the eighth grade when I chose to transfer to a local private high school where I was able to expand my music education in group settings with my peers. In my early college years I began to pour into the next generation of musicians by teaching private music lessons as well as instructing youth bands to rehearse and perform together efficiently. I have been teaching music theory and application for a range of students from youth to adulthood for over 12 years both in group settings and private lessons which has given the opportunity to refine my teaching materials to properly meet the educational needs of each individual student. I currently reside in a small mountain town with my wife and three children where we also run a micro cottage bakery from our home.
