About this Coach

LESSON FEES: $30 for a 30-minute lesson $35 for a 45-minute lesson $40 for a 60-minute lesson IN-PERSON LESSON LOCATIONS: Claremont, Upland, La Verne, Rancho, Ontario, Montclair SUBJECTS: Art of Problem Solving Curriculum, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus/Trigonometry, Calculus AB, Calculus BC, AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, SAT - Math Prep, Chemistry, Physics, Physical Science, AP Physics 1: Algebra-Based, AP Physics 2: Algebra-Based, AP Physics, Robotics, Coding/Programming Classes (e.g. Java, Python, HTML, CSS, etc.), AP Computer Science A, AP Computer Science Principles COACH BIO: I’m an undergraduate student based out of Claremont. I’m also an alumni of Home School Coaches, having been tutored as a homeschool student in math back in middle school, and now I’m giving back by tutoring the next generation of students in math and computer science. I’m currently studying computer science with a minor in math, and have extensive experience with computer programming educationally and recreationally, as well as with a variety of math curriculums as both a student and as a tutor. I also love hiking and backpacking around Southern California, particularly in Joshua Tree and the San Gorgonio Wilderness. I believe that no student should ever feel frustrated with their work, and that learning should be an enjoyable and satisfying experience for everybody. I believe in making sure every student has a robust foundation so that they can keep growing upwards and to the best of their ability.

Important Notes

All cancellations or schedule changes must be made directly with the instructor by 6 p.m. the night before a lesson to avoid a full lesson penalty fee. Some instructors may provide you with written notification outlining a different cancellation/penalty policy. This policy will supersede Home School Coaches’ policy. We truly want these lessons to support your educational goals, so feel free to share your expectations with your coach; this will enable them to provide you with a uniquely customized learning experience. Should you ever feel that these lessons do not match your expectations, please contact us to receive a refund on your remaining balance or to be matched with a different instructor.
