About this Instructor

LESSON FEES: $50 for a 30-minute lesson $60 for a 45-minute lesson $70 for a 60-minute lesson IN-PERSON LESSON LOCATIONS: Huntington Beach, Fountain Valley, Westminster SUBJECTS: Math Concepts/Intervention, Singapore Math Curriculum, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus/Trigonometry, Cooking, Biblical Studies BILINGUAL IN: Armenian Sylvia has many years of tutoring experience for grades 6 through college. Her students find her knowledgeable and approachable and feel comfortable to ask her questions on their homework. She also has patience with students and a great relationship with parents. She has helped many in the past improve their grades and continues do so as much as she can. Also, Sylvia has been a teacher in the past. She taught middle school for a couple of years, and high school for 6 years. She feels blessed when given the opportunity to work with students on a one-on-one basis and small groups because they learn more that way. Sylvia loves to cook, bake, read, attend church, and visit family and friends. She hopes to meet you soon.

All cancellations or schedule changes must be made directly with the instructor by 6 p.m. the night before a lesson to avoid a full lesson penalty fee. Some instructors may provide you with written notification outlining a different cancellation/penalty policy. This policy will supersede Home School Coaches’ policy.
