About this Instructor

LESSON FEES: $50 for a 30-minute lesson $60 for a 45-minute lesson $70 for a 60-minute lesson IN-PERSON LESSON LOCATIONS: Huntington Beach, Fountain Valley, Westminster SUBJECTS: Cooking, Biblical Studies, Math Concepts/Intervention, Singapore Math Curriculum, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus/Trigonometry BILINGUAL IN: Armenian Sylvia has many years of tutoring experience for grades 6 through college. Her students find her knowledgeable and approachable and feel comfortable to ask her questions on their homework. She also has patience with students and a great relationship with parents. She has helped many in the past improve their grades and continues do so as much as she can. Also, Sylvia has been a teacher in the past. She taught middle school for a couple of years, and high school for 6 years. She feels blessed when given the opportunity to work with students on a one-on-one basis and small groups because they learn more that way. Sylvia loves to cook, bake, read, attend church, and visit family and friends. She hopes to meet you soon. 😊

All cancellations or schedule changes must be made directly with the instructor by 6 p.m. the night before a lesson to avoid a full lesson penalty fee. Some instructors may provide you with written notification outlining a different cancellation/penalty policy. This policy will supersede Home School Coaches’ policy.
