I hold a bachelor’s degree in Child Development and have completed comprehensive trainings with the Orton Gillingham Academy, currently working toward full certification at the Associate Level. I’ve worked with children of varying abilities, including those with dyslexia, ADHD, and learning disabilities. As a language arts teacher for a homeschool pod, I apply the Orton-Gillingham method, which effectively teaches foundational literacy skills. All cancellations or schedule changes must be made directly with the instructor by 6 p.m. the night before a lesson to avoid a full lesson penalty fee. Some instructors may provide you with written notification outlining a different cancellation/penalty policy. This policy will supersede Home School Coaches’ policy. We truly want these lessons to support your educational goals, so feel free to share your expectations with your coach; this will enable them to provide you with a uniquely customized learning experience.
