When I was a child all I wanted to be when I grew up was a fairy: fluttering in the wildflowers, befriending bumblebees, and sprinkling morning dew. Instead, I became an urban homestead, which, as it turns out, is delightfully close.
My goal is to empower learners to take ownership of their studies. Rooted in the Reggio Emilia method my approach embraces multi-sensory learning. We knead dough to understand chemistry, patch jeans to explore sustainability, and plant seeds to watch biology unfold. Together we’ll forage for nesting materials, roll out clay for herbariums, and decipher the secret lives of pollinators. Every lesson is a blend of wonder, and practicality. Science is not just learned, it’s lived.
My enthusiasm for instructing is decades long. I have experience as a middle school A.V.I.D tutor, and reading interventionist.
