ABOUT THIS TUTOR
Certified Dyscalculia Specialist. I have experience with special needs students, specifically students with Autism, ADD/ADHD and medical needs. I tutor all subjects for K-8, Language Arts (all grades), Elementary Math, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Earth Science, Physical Science, Biology and Physics. I also offer lessons in Financial Fitness, Crochet, Sewing and Quilting. I work with both the struggling student and the gifted student. All sessions will be geared toward your needs and goals.
A little about me: I have been tutoring for 20 years. I received my BS degree in Genetics at UC Davis so I'm great with math and the sciences. I'm also a huge book worm. I am a nerd and proud of it!I believe learning can be fun. Math is a game. Science can take you to unimagined worlds. All cancellations or schedule changes must be made directly with the tutor by 6 p.m. the night before a lesson to avoid a full lesson penalty fee. Some tutors may provide you with written notification outlining a different cancellation/penalty policy. This policy will supersede Homeschool Coaches’ policy.
