ABOUT THIS TUTOR
Amy majored in Economics and minored in French at the University of California, Berkeley. She later earned her K-8 teaching credential in California at CSU Hayward. She homeschooled two of her three children through eighth grade and one all the way through high school. She previously served as an instructor for high school math, French and health/herbal remedies at Ecclesia Classes and this is her fourth year tutoring with Home School Coaches. Before having children, Amy taught middle school math, language arts and social studies at both public and private schools for four years and carried her K-8 teaching credential in California. All cancellations or schedule changes must be made directly with the tutor by 6 p.m. the night before a lesson to avoid a full lesson penalty fee. Some tutors may provide you with written notification outlining a different cancellation/penalty policy. This policy will supersede Homeschool Coaches’ policy.
