BIO
Bridget has a Master’s in Education, specializing in Montessori Primary Education. She attended the Montessori Institute of San Diego and received teacher certification through Association Montessori Internationale. Bridget has over 15 years of teaching experience, including six years as a full time instructor at a private school. She was homeschooled and has experience supporting homeschooling parents through tutoring and small group classes. Bridget incorporates the principles of Montessori pedagogy in her classroom instruction. She focuses on diversifying education to follow the needs of each student, intrinsically motivating students, fostering independence in the classroom, and providing stepping stones to lead the students from their concrete experiences to a more abstract understanding of the world around them. When she is not teaching, Bridget enjoys spending time with her husband, hiking, playing with her German Shepherd, and cooking.
