Can I request a Learning Pod to be created in my neighborhood?

Yes! Home School Coaches has over 80 instructors throughout the region and we'd love to see if there are instructors in your area that can create custom classes to server your community. Please reach out to info@homeschoolcoaches.com or text (626) 872-1522 to get started.

Does my child need to wear a mask?

Accepted Answer

In following local health mandates, children do NOT need to wear a mask outdoors, however, it is strongly recommended.

Question 3

It looks like it might rain today. Will the class happen?

Accepted Answer

The instructor will email all registered families by 9am the day of the class to confirm if a class will be canceled due to inclement weather. Your instructor may postpone the class or move the class online.

Are there free trial classes for Learning Pods?

Accepted Answer

Often, your child may attend a free trial class. Please contact the instructor for more information.

Question 5

Can I just show up or do I have to register in advance?

Accepted Answer

Advanced registration is necessary for all classes since they may fill up or the instructor may not have enough supplies for all students.

Question 6

Can I leave to run an errand while my children are in the pod?

Accepted Answer

Sorry! Parents and guardians are required to stay on site for the entire duration of the class. Parents may leave IF they inform the instructor of another guardian or parent that will be responsible for their child.

Question 7

How do I make my payment?

Accepted Answer

You may pay for your child's class with charter funds, credit cards, or through your bank. To make a payment with a credit card or through your bank, use the link provided during the online registration process. To make a payment with charter funds, submit a purchase order to Home School Coaches (Abby Zabby LLC). Purchase orders should be received prior to the start of the class. Be sure you complete the online registration process as well to reserve your child's place in the class.

Can I get a refund?

Sorry, there are no refunds or partial refunds on Pod classes.

Question 9

Can a parent make a partial payment at the onsite and join the class?

Accepted Answer

Yes, parents may make partial payments to attend a class. Please check with the instructor first to determine the amount due when checking out.
