BIO
My name is Heidi Miranda. I am a credentialed Education Specialist in California.
I have been working in the Education field for my entire adult life. I began as a
preschool assistant until I was promoted to lead teacher while I was going
through college. After undergraduate school, I went to Graduate School in
Washington D.C., where I got my master's in Deaf Education with a
specialization in Family Centered Early Education. After that, I worked for the
New Mexico School for the Deaf for 10 years, focusing on ages 0-7. Now I am a
homeschool mom and I work for a homeschool Charter as an Education
Specialist.
 
I have a way of connecting with all age groups. I believe in hands-on
learning. I believe that all students can be successful. I believe in the power of
positivity. I believe that homeschool is a wonderful opportunity for student to
learn at their own pace in their own way. I can’t wait to meet you and see how I
can serve you! With homeschool coaches, I will be offering ASL classes, ASL
tutoring, reading and writing support, and writing workshops.
