BIO
Rebekah Mackie is a pastor's wife, mother of five, and a new grandma! She attended APU for both her undergraduate and graduate studies, but she believes her most valuable education began 26 years ago when she left the traditional classroom to raise and teach her own children. She is passionate about her family, mentoring young moms, children's lit, theatre, and history. She has directed children's music and theatre for nearly 30 years and currently serves as the director of A1 Musical Theatre. For the past 15 years, she has taught various humanities courses in the homeschool community. She was trained by Meet the Masters in 1997 and has been teaching this curriculum in classrooms and living rooms ever since, adding her own Charlotte Mason techniques to the program. She has homeschooled her children for the last 20 years and is thrilled to begin her newest venture, co-founding a brand new homeschool co-op with Charlotte Mason style classes, called Journey Through a Living Education.
