ABOUT THIS TUTOR
Marisa Gomez-Garcia is an iOS and full-stack developer and founder of Cloud6 App Development LLC, based in Southern California. She has shipped multiple apps to the Apple App Store and built Cloud6 Academy, a bilingual (English/Spanish) K-12 learning platform with 2,600+ standards-aligned lessons. Through App Creator Lab, she teaches students ages 10–18 how to design and build real, working apps using modern AI tools — turning kids from app users into app creators. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Marisa is passionate about making technology education accessible to every family, especially Spanish-speaking and underserved communities. She was recently featured in Authority Magazine's "Pushing the Boundaries of AI" series for her work in bilingual edtech. All cancellations or schedule changes must be made directly with the tutor by 6 p.m. the night before a lesson to avoid a full lesson penalty fee. Some tutors may provide you with written notification outlining a different cancellation/penalty policy. This policy will supersede Homeschool Coaches’ policy.
