ABOUT THIS TUTOR
For over 18 years, I’ve had the joy of teaching and homeschooling, walking alongside students as they discover their unique strengths and potential. As a homeschool mom of three, one of whom has already stepped into college life, I’ve experienced firsthand both the challenges and the incredible rewards of learning at home. Throughout the years, I’ve taught students from T-K through High School in core subjects like math, language arts, science, and history, while also weaving in creativity through art, music, and storytelling.
My degree in Interior Design adds an extra layer of creativity to my teaching, helping me connect lessons to the real world in meaningful and inspiring ways. My approach to teaching is simple: meet each student right where they are. I create a warm, supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged, capable, and excited to learn. Whether I’m reinforcing a homeschool curriculum or providing extra help with classroom assignments, my goal is always the same – to help students grow in confidence, build lasting skills, and spark joy in the learning process. All cancellations or schedule changes must be made directly with the tutor by 6 p.m. the night before a lesson to avoid a full lesson penalty fee. Some tutors may provide you with written notification outlining a different cancellation/penalty policy. This policy will supersede Homeschool Coaches’ policy.
