About this Instructor
LESSON FEES: $45 for a 30-minute lesson $55 for a 45-minute lesson $65 for a 60-minute lesson IN-PERSON LESSON LOCATIONS: Pasadena SUBJECTS: French (Beginner Level), Algebra 1 Amy majored in Economics and minored in French at the University of California, Berkeley. She later earned her K-8 teaching credential in California at CSU Hayward. She homeschooled two of her three children through eighth grade and one all the way through high school. She previously served as an instructor for high school math, French and health/herbal remedies at Ecclesia Classes and this is her fourth year tutoring with Home School Coaches. Before having children, Amy taught middle school math, language arts and social studies at both public and private schools for four years and carried her K-8 teaching credential in California. Amy’s three favorite subjects are Math, French, and Dance. She also loves running, herbal remedies, journaling, and gardening.
All cancellations or schedule changes must be made directly with the instructor by 6 p.m. the night before a lesson to avoid a full lesson penalty fee. Some instructors may provide you with written notification outlining a different cancellation/penalty policy. This policy will supersede Home School Coaches’ policy. We truly want these lessons to support your educational goals, so feel free to share your expectations with your coach; this will enable them to provide you with a uniquely customized learning experience. Should you ever feel that these lessons do not match your expectations, please contact us to receive a refund on your remaining balance or to be matched with a different instructor.
