About this Instructor

LESSON FEES: $60 for a 30-minute lesson $80 for a 45-minute lesson $95 for a 60-minute lesson IN-PERSON LESSON LOCATION: Santa Paula (Studio) SUBJECTS: Viola, Violin, Cello, Mandolin, Music Theory, Composition, AP Music Theory Ashley is an in-demand instrumentalist, composer, and teacher. She began her musical life as a classical violinist. Shortly after, she found the mandolin and the diverse world of folk music. She participated in fiddle conventions and contests, developing her ear, but also continued working on technical and sight-reading skills through chamber ensembles and orchestra. Later, she devoted her time to learning the cello. By the end of high school, she performed and toured in several bands. She’s been a part of numerous albums and released two of her own. Currently, she is finishing her master’s degree in music composition. Ashley believes anybody can learn music with the right instruction and practice effort. A students’ desires, needs, and goals are taken into consideration to create a custom curriculum that will both excite the student and ensure their efficient progress. She always creates a positive and fun learning environment to keep morale and motivation high.

All cancellations or schedule changes must be made directly with the instructor by 6 p.m. the night before a lesson to avoid a full lesson penalty fee. Some instructors may provide you with written notification outlining a different cancellation/penalty policy. This policy will supersede Home School Coaches’ policy.
