I am passionate about helping students find joy in reading and their voices in writing. I have tutored students (both individually and in groups) from 3rd to graduate school for 8 years and have been teaching for 6 years. I have assisted hundreds of native and non-native learners in learning to read, analyze literature, and write. Each student learns differently, and working with many students has enabled me to identify specific techniques that are creative and useful for any student. Many of the students I have worked with (including those with learning disabilities) have increased their grade two levels while working with me. My knowledge of both high school and college learning outcomes is additionally useful for those looking to get into college after high school. As an educator, I love working with parents to ensure your child’s success. If you have any questions or would like to know more, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. I am available for in-person and online lessons, and I look forward to serving you! TESTIMONIALS “Ms. Rodriguez explained things so easily, everything made so much more sense. At first, I thought I was going to fail, but I was able to pass my English class because of her. I use her tutoring anytime I have a paper for any class.” – Kameron Gutierrez “I have learned so much from Ms. Rodriguez! I used to really hate writing papers, but she built my confidence. My professor even told me how much he enjoyed reading my papers because they were written so well! Ms. Claire is very warm and genuinely kind and really cares about her students. I definitely recommend Ms. Rodriguez! You won’t be disappointed!” –Sarah Santoyo
