About this Instructor
LESSON FEES: $40 for a 30-minute lesson $50 for a 45-minute lesson $60 for a 60-minute lesson SUBJECTS: General Writing, Essay Writing, Creative Writing, College Application Essay, Literature, Grammar/Spelling, Reading Comprehension, Reading, SAT - English Prep, ACT - English Prep, AP English Language and Composition, AP English Literature and Composition, General: Language Arts/English, Music Theory, Music Appreciation, Composition, Piano, AP Music Theory Denis was a victim of public school but, after some years of recovery, managed nonetheless to find delight in real education and went on to teach college full time for years and has taught, among other things, English, Computer Science, German, Music Theory and Composition, Aikido, Mathematics, and Poetry/Songwriting. The Titchenell family homeschooled/unschooled their children. Though Denis holds a number of academic degrees and certifications, these are utterly irrelevant as the classroom is rarely where real learning takes place.
Important Notes
All cancellations or schedule changes must be made directly with the instructor by 6 p.m. the night before a lesson to avoid a full lesson penalty fee. Some instructors may provide you with written notification outlining a different cancellation/penalty policy. This policy will supersede Home School Coaches’ policy. We truly want these lessons to support your educational goals, so feel free to share your expectations with your coach; this will enable them to provide you with a uniquely customized learning experience.
