About this Instructor

LESSON FEES: $50 for a 30-minute lesson $60 for a 45-minute lesson $70 for a 60-minute lesson IN-PERSON LESSON LOCATIONS: Glendora, Azusa, West Covina, Covina, San Dimas, LaVerne SUBJECTS: General Writing, Essay Writing, Literature, Grammar/Spelling, Reading Comprehension, Geography, History, Social Studies, World History I graduated from Azusa Pacific University in 1996 with a degree in English Literature and became a public school teacher for 9 years. In those 9 years, I had the privilege of teaching 7th-12th grade ELA and Social Studies. I then retired from the public school to begin my homeschool journey and I haven’t looked back! I have been in the homeschool community for 14 years, including teaching high school English classes for our co-op. I am excited to be able to help parents and students on their own journeys, especially helping out with English Literature, Writing, and History--subjects I truly enjoy. I believe each child is capable of learning and growing, and each student has a unique purpose and destiny in this life. My goal is to assist the students in achieving their goals, even if it’s just getting through tough a subject. When I’m not in the homeschooling/teaching mode, I am learning new crochet stitches, watching BritBox, and enjoying time with my family.
