LESSON FEES: $50 for a 30-minute lesson $60 for a 45-minute lesson $70 for a 60-minute lesson IN-PERSON LESSON LOCATIONS: Long Beach, Lakewood, Cerritos, Norwalk, Cypress, Signal Hill, Los Alamitos, Seal Beach, Artesia, Downey SUBJECTS: Math Concepts/Intervention, Math Games/Foundations, Singapore Math, Elementary Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, General Writing, Essay Writing, IEW, Literature, Grammar/Spelling, Reading Comprehension, Reading, Elementary Science, Life Science, Physical Science COACH BIO: Kathryn is a credentialed teacher with 25 years experience helping kids learn. She started her career in traditional school, and now she’s a home school mom. Over the past 14 years Kathryn has schooled two, graduated one, and have three years to go! She loves working one-on-one with students, finding ways to build success. She also enjoys small group settings where kids can learn from each other and cheer one another on. Kathryn tutors reading, English grammar, and writing. She has extensive experience with both IEW and Lost Tools of Writing. She also tutors math, particularly Algebra with middle and high school kids; she helps them master rules that allow them to manipulate numbers in magical ways! Kathryn believes that with a personalized approach, every child can grow with knowledge, understanding, and skills needed for future success.

Important Notes

All cancellations or schedule changes must be made directly with the instructor by 6 p.m. the night before a lesson to avoid a full lesson penalty fee. Some instructors may provide you with written notification outlining a different cancellation/penalty policy. This policy will supersede Home School Coaches’ policy. We truly want these lessons to support your educational goals, so feel free to share your expectations with your coach; this will enable them to provide you with a uniquely customized learning experience. Should you ever feel that these lessons do not match your expectations, please contact us to receive a refund on your remaining balance or to be matched with a different instructor.
