LESSON FEES: $60 for a 30-minute lesson $75 for a 45-minute lesson $90 for a 60-minute lesson IN-PERSON LESSON LOCATIONS: San Dimas, Glendora, Covina, LaVerne, Azusa SUBJECTS: General Writing, Essay Writing, Literature, Reading Comprehension, Reading, Math Concepts/Intervention, Math Games/Foundations, Singapore Math Curriculum, Elementary Math, Pre-Algebra, Yoga, Book Clubs COACH BIO: Sara has been a teacher of primary grades in independent schools for 14 years. Her passion is teaching young students to read, but believes that teaching any subject to young students is an adventure. Her time in the independent schools has allowed her to become an expert in individualized education. She knows that every student is different and believes in working with families and teachers in order to make sure that the individual learning needs of each student are being met. In addition to her classroom teaching experiences, Sara has a BA in Elementary Education, a MA in Curriculum and Instruction: Early Childhood Education and a Graduate Certificate in Gifted Education. Sara loves spending time with her family cooking, playing and having adventures. She understands the importance of a well-rounded education and respects the role and passion that parents bring to the table. She wants to provide a quality educational experience to both students and parents.

All cancellations or schedule changes must be made directly with the instructor by 6 p.m. the night before a lesson to avoid a full lesson penalty fee. Some instructors may provide you with written notification outlining a different cancellation/penalty policy. This policy will supersede Home School Coaches’ policy. We truly want these lessons to support your educational goals, so feel free to share your expectations with your coach; this will enable them to provide you with a uniquely customized learning experience. Should you ever feel that these lessons do not match your expectations, please contact us to receive a refund on your remaining balance or to be matched with a different instructor.
