About this Instructor

LESSON FEES: $60 for a 30-minute lesson $75 for a 45-minute lesson $90 for a 60-minute lesson IN-PERSON LESSON LOCATIONS: Los Angeles, Pasadena, Arcadia , Monrovia, Temple City, San Gabriel, Rosemead, El Monte, Baldwin Park, Altadena SUBJECTS: Drums, Guitar, Ukulele, Music Theory, Music Appreciation, Composition, AP Music Theory, Jazz Music, Jazz Guitar, Musicianship Skills, Bass Lessons, Music Production At a very young age, Victor had a passion for all things guitar. Priding himself with the ability to hear a song and immediately learn all of its parts, it did not take long for Victor to begin formal music lessons. In Victor’s recent years he has been very fortunate to play alongside many well renowned bands of Jazz, Latin and Pop styles. This inspired him to write, perform and produce all of the parts in his debut CD. Victor then toured all around Southern California playing solo shows with his electric guitar and amplifier. Victor’s primary goal is to teach his students an authentic and practical approach of studying the guitar. Naturally these lessons come with music theory, musicianship skills and sight reading skills to allow the student to conceptually understand the music being practiced no matter the age or stage. All genres and styles are welcome to learn and Victor will make sure that each student goes home happy! “Music is a wonderfully complex art form. If you take a listen to Stevie Wonder by example, he will compose perfectly catchy sing-able songs with a deep melodic and harmonic presence. This connects the elegant bridge of pop styles fusing with jazz roots. The point being, music as a whole can sound one particular way in its end result but be formed by many different walks of sound.” – Victor Dawahare
