LESSON FEES: $100 for a 60-minute lesson IN-PERSON LESSON LOCATIONS: Claremont, Upland, Rancho Cucamonga, North Ontario, Montclair, North Pomona, Montclair Public Library, Upland Public Library, Ovitt Family Library, Claremont Helen Renwick Library, Home Studio (Ontario) SUBJECTS: Grammar/Spelling, Reading Comprehension, Reading, Dyslexia Specialist BILINGUAL IN: Spanish COACH BIO: My name is Victoria, and I am an Orton-Gillingham tutor with extensive training and experience in supporting students with reading, writing, and comprehension skills. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Child Development and have completed comprehensive trainings with the Orton Gillingham Academy, currently working toward full certification at the Associate Level. I’ve worked with children of varying abilities, including those with dyslexia, ADHD, and learning disabilities. As a language arts teacher for a homeschool pod, I apply the Orton-Gillingham method, which effectively teaches foundational literacy skills. I create a supportive learning environment focused on individual growth.
Important Notes
All cancellations or schedule changes must be made directly with the instructor by 6 p.m. the night before a lesson to avoid a full lesson penalty fee. Some instructors may provide you with written notification outlining a different cancellation/penalty policy. This policy will supersede Home School Coaches’ policy. We truly want these lessons to support your educational goals, so feel free to share your expectations with your coach; this will enable them to provide you with a uniquely customized learning experience. Should you ever feel that these lessons do not match your expectations, please contact us to receive a refund on your remaining balance or to be matched with a different instructor.
