He appreciates how his own homeschooling from grades 7-12 allowed him to pursue his passion for drawing. He has a BA from Thomas Aquinas College in Liberal Arts, where he learned how different sciences and disciplines are structured, and a BFA from Art Center College of Design, where he dove deep into design theory and the craft of drawing. Will has worked on several animated projects across multiple studios, including Disney, Warner Bros., and Marvel, designing sets, vehicles, props, and graphics, mainly using Photoshop and Blender. He has also illustrated for magazines and children’s books. As an art instructor, Will focuses on how the fundamentals of drawing and design relate to the student’s interests and the great artists of past and present. Outside his profession, Will enjoys reading (mostly with his ears) sci-fi and fantasy novels. He lives with his wife and three wonderful children, with whom he is often seen at the local playground.
