She holds a Master of Music Degree in Musical Theater/Opera Performance, from Arizona State University, and a Bachelors degree in Piano Performance from ASU as well. Francesca comes from a family of pedagogues, that is of music teachers! She was mentored as a teacher and started her business in 5th grade; she has been teaching ever since. Francesca was not homeschooled, however many people over the years have wanted her to become a vendor for homeschoolers. She teaches ages 4 and up and believes anyone can learn to play the piano or sing! It’s a matter of putting in the time! Her philosophy for singing is simple, it really comes down to singing half steps and whole steps and then putting those together to make melodies! As a teacher I help students dig deep emotionally to be expressive and truly make their music a work of art and a gift! Francesca’s vocal teachers include one of Broadway’s finest and current artists, Tregony Shephard, Judy May (Juilliard graduate and retired ASU professor), Darlene Kliewer-Britton, (retired but was a major coach of Broadway stars), and Jaime Jordan. Francesca’s piano teachers include the brilliant Steinway artist Robert Hamilton, a pupil of Vladimir Horowitz, world class teacher and professor Dr. Irene Perry-Fox, Steinway artist Dr. Caio Pagano, Manuela Pagano, professor of Collaborative Artists at ASU Dr. Andrew Campbell, and Dr. Hamilton Tesscarolo. Francesca has performed with The Hollywood Chamber orchestra at the Montalban Theater in Hollywood, in collaboration with film and Hollywood composer/orchestrator Chad Cannon. This was the premiere of his piece, "Harlem" that was written up in the New York Times. Francesca has done other projects in the studio with Cannon including a work that was debuted at the Lincoln Center in NYC. She has performed with the Millennial Choirs & Orchestras Soloing on several occasions including being the Soprano understudy for Mendelssohn’s oratorio, “Elijah”, done solos from Handel’s Messiah, and also dressed and sang as Mother Mary.
