LESSON FEES: $45 for a 30-minute lesson $55 for a 45-minute lesson $65 for a 60-minute lesson IN-PERSON LESSON LOCATIONS: Lake Elsinore SUBJECTS: Essay Writing, Creative Writing, Literature, Grammar/Spelling, Reading Comprehension, Language Arts/English, Math Games/Foundations, Elementary Math, Social Studies/History I taught grades K-6th including tutoring many students in various subjects for over 16 years as well as homeschooling my own daughters. I received my B.A. in Liberal Studies from APU, obtained my multiple subject teaching credential at Cal State Fullerton, and completed my Masters in Educational Leadership. I am a caring, enthusiastic tutor dedicated to providing a well-balanced, supportive and engaging learning environment for all of my students. I find it vital to build rapport with each student by discovering their learning styles, strengths and interests. I have extensive experience helping students build strong reading and writing skills. I focus on fine-tuning phonemic awareness/phonics/decoding, improving fluency, and deepening reading comprehension. I help students find books matching their interest and skill level while creating fun ways to engage in the elements of the story. It is my greatest joy to inspire, nurture, and empower my students to reach for their personal best! All cancellations or schedule changes must be made directly with the instructor by 6 p.m. the night before a lesson to avoid a full lesson penalty fee. Some instructors may provide you with written notification outlining a different cancellation/penalty policy. This policy will supersede Home School Coaches’ policy.
