She participated in many ensembles including choir, piano ensemble, marching band, jazz, and symphonic band throughout elementary school to college. Jensine began serving as a pianist at First Chinese Baptist Church of San Gabriel Valley in 2013. During this tenure, she had developed a genuine passion for music, and wished to pass that passion on to her peers and the younger generation. In 2015, Jensine began teaching Piano at a local studio located in San Gabriel. Her charismatic and unique teaching methods showed results in her students, which created more teaching opportunities through satisfied parents and staff members. One such opportunity arose in 2017, where she was hired as a Pianist for the Children's Choir at Herald Family Center. She held that position until 2019. At the tender age of 19, Jensine had managed to accumulate a sizable number of students, to the point where she began to teach piano privately, while pursuing her undergraduate degree. The combination of her work ethic and her affinity towards teaching, has allowed her to continue teaching piano privately for the last 5 years. Always searching for new ways to improve her craft and impact more lives, Jensine gained 3 years of experience as an In-class Teaching Coach during her time at Azusa Pacific University. There, she assisted and coached students in learning Clarinet. As an educator, her philosophy is to harness her students' strengths through their own respective learning styles. She strongly believes in the value of allowing her students to use music as an outlet for creativity and expression. Her goal is to create an environment where each student can develop their character, discipline, patience, and perseverance. Jensine received her Bachelor's of Music Education, Pre Teacher Certification from Azusa Pacific University in 2020. She also completed her teaching credential in music at California State University of Los Angeles. She is currently a member of the Music Teachers Association of Californian.
