LESSON FEES: $50 for a 30-minute lesson $60 for a 45-minute lesson $70 for a 60-minute lesson IN-PERSON LESSON LOCATIONS: West Covina, Covina, Glendora, Glendora Library SUBJECTS: Spanish, Elementary Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Elementary Science, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Physical Science, Life Science, Health, Anatomy/Physiology COACH BIO: Josephine graduated from the University of California, San Diego, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry/Cell Biology and Minor Studies in Spanish Literature. She has been married to Justin for 25 years and has been homeschooling their four sons in all subjects for 15 years. Her love for science has inspired her to teach homeschoolers of all ages and abilities in her homeschool co-op and also to tutor local students. Josephine believes that engaging the student is the key to success, and she is proficient in utilizing technology to supplement her lessons and tutoring sessions. She has been known to incorporate food science at every opportunity in her lessons and she strives for students to appreciate science as much as she appreciates a good cup of coffee.

All cancellations or schedule changes must be made directly with the instructor by 6 p.m. the night before a lesson to avoid a full lesson penalty fee. Some instructors may provide you with written notification outlining a different cancellation/penalty policy. This policy will supersede Home School Coaches’ policy. We truly want these lessons to support your educational goals, so feel free to share your expectations with your coach; this will enable them to provide you with a uniquely customized learning experience. Should you ever feel that these lessons do not match your expectations, please contact us to receive a refund on your remaining balance or to be matched with a different instructor.
