LESSON FEES: $75 for a 30-minute lesson $100 for a 45-minute lesson $125 for a 60-minute lesson SUBJECTS: Dyslexia, Phonics, Phonemic Awareness, Fluency, Vocabulary, Hand Writing, Reading Motivation, Reading Intervention, Structured Literacy, General Writing, Grammar/Spelling, Reading Comprehension COACH BIO: Hi, I’m Sara! I specialize in reading and literacy with a focus on motivation and mindset. I have a Master of Science in Education with an emphasis in Reading and Literacy from Cal State Fullerton. After earning my degree, I dedicated two years of service to AmeriCorps through Reading Partners Los Angeles, supporting students who were struggling to read at grade level. I’ve researched and applied methods to support readers that are emerging, struggling, dyslexic, and others just needing some guidance and motivation. I use a structured literacy approach tailored to each student’s needs, including those with dyslexia. My lessons focus on mindset and motivation to help build reading confidence! Sessions are private and individualized for all ages. A little about me: I was a struggling reader myself and a fellow homeschooler, so I understand the journey firsthand!
Important Notes
All cancellations or schedule changes must be made directly with the instructor by 6 p.m. the night before a lesson to avoid a full lesson penalty fee. Some instructors may provide you with written notification outlining a different cancellation/penalty policy. This policy will supersede Home School Coaches’ policy. We truly want these lessons to support your educational goals, so feel free to share your expectations with your coach; this will enable them to provide you with a uniquely customized learning experience. Should you ever feel that these lessons do not match your expectations, please contact us to receive a refund on your remaining balance or to be matched with a different instructor.
