She was a multiple awarded scholar and a 2011 J. William Fulbright Research Scholar Finalist for Mathematics Education. She is pursuing a School Counseling degree in USC's Rossier School Education graduate program. Monique has been tutoring children since 2002 and is passionate about helping young minds connect in unique ways, bridging educational gaps. She homeschools her neurodiverse son and understands the journey's challenges and beauty, inspiring her to support students by incorporating social-emotional learning and self-regulation skills. In the past, she designed and implemented a CBO-awarded grant for a college preparation program workshop that assisted high school students. Monique specializes in mathematics through Algebra 2, English language arts, social sciences, computer skills, study skills, life skills, SAT study, and college preparation.
