About this Instructor
LESSON FEES: $50 for a 30-minute lesson $60 for a 45-minute lesson $70 for a 60-minute lesson SUBJECTS: Social Studies, World History, General Writing, Essay Writing, Creative Writing, Literature, Grammar/Spelling, Reading Comprehension, Reading, Math Concepts/Intervention, Math Games/Foundations, Elementary Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus/Trigonometry, Elementary Science, Biology, Physics, Physical Science, Life Science, Health, Sewing, Crochet, Quilting, Financial Fitness I tutor all subjects for K-8, Language Arts (all grades), Elementary Math, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Earth Science, Physical Science, Biology and Physics. I also offer lessons in Financial Fitness, Crochet, Sewing and Quilting. I work with both the struggling student and the gifted student. All sessions will be geared toward your needs and goals. I have experience with special needs students, specifically students with Autism, ADD/ADHD and medical needs. A little about me: I have been tutoring for 20 years. I received my BS degree in Genetics at UC Davis so I'm great with math and the sciences. I'm also a huge book worm. I am a nerd and proud of it! I believe learning can be fun. Math is a game. Science can take you to unimagined worlds. And Literature will take your imagination to where you never thought was possible.
Important Notes
All cancellations or schedule changes must be made directly with the instructor by 6 p.m. the night before a lesson to avoid a full lesson penalty fee. Some instructors may provide you with written notification outlining a different cancellation/penalty policy. This policy will supersede Home School Coaches’ policy. We truly want these lessons to support your educational goals, so feel free to share your expectations with your coach; this will enable them to provide you with a uniquely customized learning experience. Should you ever feel that these lessons do not match your expectations, please contact us to receive a refund on your remaining balance or to be matched with a different instructor.
